With our user-friendly kiosks, customers can enjoy seamless access to on-water recreation, renting a kayak or SUP in just minutes. For our partners, these kiosks offer a fully operational kayak rental program without the hassle of managing it. Whenever Watersports' kayak rental kiosk program operates like bike share for kayaks: simply scan a QR code, rent via smartphone, and embark on adventure!

Power: Our self-serve kayak rental kiosks operate using long-lasting battery-powered Bluetooth locks, eliminating the need for external power sources.
Software: Rentals are handled through a user-friendly mobile app. The app connects to the kayak rental kiosks via Bluetooth, unlocking the vessels automatically once the checkout process is complete.
Payment: Payments are processed securely via Stripe through the customer's mobile device using credit, debit, or Apple Pay, ensuring a seamless transaction experience.

Kiosks come in 4-slot, 6-slot, 8-slot, 10-slot, and 12-slot sizes.

Our self-serve kayak rental kiosks are easily installed to any surface including sand, grass, gravel, cement, and asphalt.

Kayak rental kiosks can hold single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Our kiosk locker boxes typically contain various-sized PFDs and paddles.

Our remote operation system allows for our kiosks to be operated remotely. Anytime human intervention is needed (Ex: Issue with lock not opening) we can take control of the kiosk via computer or mobile phone.
We also hire a local representative for all of our locations who handles all in-person needs including maintenance and equipment replacements.

Getting on the water is more affordable than you think! Whether you're going kayaking solo or bringing a friend, single kayaks start at $19.99 for 1 hour, $29.99 for 2 hours, or $49.99 for a full day (8 hours or until sunset). Our tandem kayak — built for two — is $39.99 for 1 hour, $59.99 for 2 hours, or $79.99 for a full day. Please note that prices may vary by location.

We're out here every day of the week, rain or shine, from sunrise to sunset! Our kiosk automatically turns on 30 minutes before sunrise and winds down 30 minutes before sunset, so you never miss a golden hour on the water. Please note that hours may vary by location.

Renters must be 18 or older to sign the waiver and get paddling! Kids are absolutely welcome on the water. They just need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Our kayaks are built to handle a range of paddlers! Our single kayak supports up to 397 lbs (180 kg), and our tandem kayak — made for two people — holds up to 617 lbs (280 kg) combined.

Every rental includes a paddle and a life jacket with a built-in whistle for safety. We have both adult and children's vests so the whole family is covered.

No worries if you lose track of time out there, it happens! Just keep in mind that going over your rental time is $14.99/hr for single kayaks and $29.99/hr for tandem kayaks. The good news? It's charged by the minute, so you only pay for exactly how long you go over. Fair and simple!

We trust our customers to take good care of our equipment and return it on time. Any gear not returned within 24 hours of the rental period will be charged the full replacement cost.

Yes! We welcome groups of all sizes — just walk up to our kiosk, no reservation needed. However, if you're planning a larger group event or need a more personalized experience, feel free to fill out our form at wheneverwatersports.com/group-events and we'll get everything sorted for you!
